Wayne's BetVictor Bingo Review
There have been rumours of BetVictor opening a bingo site going back years, but they never got round to doing it... until now.
The sportsbetting giant added bingo with Pragmatic Play's network offering in May 2021, but at the moment that is all it has, just the same networked rooms that you can get at all the other Pragmatic Play bingo sites.
You can tell by looking at the site that they've had a challenge trying to embed bingo within a website design that is already established for a sports betting audience. Betting sites tend to be very text-heavy, so they can display odds for multiple sports on screen, so the amount of space they have to play with is quite small.
On mobile this isn't so much of a problem but on desktop you can see they only have room for some small icons for each room, along with the room name in tiny font. It does feel a bit odd at first as usually on bingo sites you'll have information such as player numbers, ticket price and prize money on these pages, but BetVictor have gone for a minimalist look.
What's to like about BetVictor Bingo?
Well, to be honest I am a fan of the Pragmatic Play bingo software, so the bingo games themselves are very good, with decent prize money and regular big money games usually on a Friday and Saturday night.
However, these rooms and events aren't exclusive to BetVictor, and you could argue that you would get more value and choice by playing at one of the more established Pragmatic sites, such as PlayOJO Bingo or Bingo Britain, both of whom have exclusive rooms that BV do not.
However, to compensate they are offering a pretty decent signup offer to new players, so there is that to consider also.
