Wayne's The Palaces Bingo Online Review

In this review I've deliberately used the word 'online' here because The Palaces is actually a chain of bingo halls that has venues in Great Yarmouth, London and Felixstowe.

If you're looking for info on these three venues, head to their other website: palacebingo.co.uk. If you're looking for info about their online bingo website, keep on reading!

Online Bingo's Best Kept Secret

The Palaces Bingo is one of those sites that has been around for a few years, but has kept itself largely under the radar. This is probably due to it not having an affiliate scheme, which means review sites (including this one) won't make any money by promoting it.

Usually when a bingo site has no affiliate scheme, the big review sites like WhichBingo wouldn't talk about it at all. But I'm not like those other sites.

Check out the video below which explains why this site is special, and why I'm recommending it despite not being officially affiliated with them.

Patrick The Bingo King

The reason I believe this site is different to the rest is probably the result of one man, Patrick Duffy. He's the MD and owner of The Palaces and he appears to take a real hands-on role in both the retail and online business.

When you sign up to The Palaces online, you get a welcome email directly from Patrick, in which he says thanks for joining and provides both his personal email address and phone number, to contact him if there are any problems.

I also encountered Patrick in the bingo chat rooms on more than one occasion, plus he has been known to do live zoom calls during the lockdowns with players. I've taken part in a few of these zoom calls and they're great. They usually take place during the evening's Session Bingo (8pm- check site for latest schedule) and in between the bingo games he does little games, such as Play Your Cards Right with the players who have joined the zoom call.

I even managed to make it all the way to the end of Play Your Cards Right once and Patrick credited me with a £5 bingo bonus.

I cannot think of any other bingo website owner that would ever engage so directly with their players than what Patrick is doing. This is why I believe his site deserves a special mention from me, and I encourage you to go and check them out.

"The Palaces is as close to a genuine bingo club as you'll find online. Patrick Duffy, the owner, is a visible presence in the rooms and is even known to do zoom calls during bingo sessions to chat and play games with players."

How to Join The Palaces Bingo Online

When you are on The Palaces Bingo website, you should see a Join Now button on the left hand side or in the middle if you're on mobile. Click on this to open up the sign-up form.

Here you will first need to enter your email, and create a username and password. Enter your date of birth and then hit continue. Next you must enter some personal details such as name, phone number, occupation, gender and postal address. You also have to confirm you are over 18 and agree to the T&Cs.

Once you've done this, it may then show an error message that says 'Session has expired. Please login again.' Don't worry about this, just enter your username and password in the boxes provided and you should be logged in.

No Wagering Bingo at The Palaces

The Palaces Bingo is a no wagering bingo site. This means anything won with bonus money is paid out in cash.

This is good news for players as it means you don't have to wager a multiple of your winnings before you can withdraw.

How to find the bingo games at The Palaces Online

Opening up the bingo lobby at The Palaces Online couldn't be any easier. Just click on the giant 'Let's Play Bingo!' button right on the homepage once you are logged in.

On desktop, you can also navigate to the bingo lobby by clicking on 'Play Bingo' on the left hand side menu.

'Play Live Casino!' will take you a suite of Pragmatic Play live-streamed casino games, such as Blackjack and Roulette. 'Explore Our Casino Games' will show you all of the various slot games available.

How to deposit at The Palaces Bingo Online

The Palaces has a large deposit button on the homepage. If you're on mobile this is right in the middle of the page near the top. On desktop it's over on the left with the other links.

When you first go to deposit it will ask you to set some deposit limits. You can set daily, weekly and monthly limits, as well as loss limits. All sorts of responsible gambling tools are there on this screen, and it is good that they place them here and kind of force you to use them.

If you're not sure what settings to use, you can choose to do it later by clicking on the first button at the top.

If it is your first deposit it will ask you to put in debit card details. Click on the VISA / Debit Card logo and then select Proceed. Once you've done that, you will set the amount you wish to deposit. There are quick amounts from £10 - £100 but you can also put in a custom amount. Do this then select Proceed.

At the next step it will ask you to choose a bonus. Pick from whatever options are there. You can skip the bonus if you don't want it, but my advice is to check the Terms & Conditions first, as it is meant to be a no wagering site so you should get decent terms on the bonuses.

Click on 'add bonus and deposit' or 'skip bonus and deposit' (depending on your preference). Enter your card details on the next screen (if its a redeposit press use stored card), then follow the instructions to make your payment.

How to withdraw at The Palaces Bingo Online

If you've had some luck and won enough money that you want to withdraw some, you can do so very easily.

You can open up your wallet by either clicking 'Wallet' from the main menu, or clicking on the big deposit button. Both will open up the wallet on the deposit screen, but from there you can select the tab for Withdraw.

From here you can select the amount you wish to take out and then request the withdrawal.
