Wayne's Ted Bingo Review

Ted Bingo is one of the nicer looking Dragonfish sites out there, even if it has had to abandon the cartoon bear from the original design due to concerns about it being potentially appealing to children.

The newly designed Ted Bingo is now a clean and slick looking affair, and one that very much feels like a flagship brand given that it has some extra features not typically found on standard Dragonfish skins. The main one being the addition of 'Trophies' which aim to reward (i.e. incentivise) players for depositing and playing.

Bingo Rooms

Ted has all of the usual Dragonfish networked games you would expect, as well as a few standalone rooms and free bingo games.

"Ted Bingo is one of the best looking Dragonfish brands but they really are hungry for those deposits. Watch the T&Cs closely on any offers and promotions you take part in."

How to join Ted Bingo

If you're ready to join Ted Bingo simply scroll down and click on the claim offer button below. This will take you the Ted Bingo website.

From here if you click on the Join Now button it will start the registration process. Start by entering your name, DOB, gender and confirm you are over 18 and accept the T&Cs. On the next step it will ask for your postal address, and then finally your email address and phone number. Once you've done that you will get to choose a nickname and password and you should be good to go.

Automated checks will confirm your details, which if successful will then confirm you are verified. It will ask if you wish to deposit now, but you can skip to lobby if you would rather have a look around first.

How to make a deposit at Ted Bingo

When you first go to make a deposit you will find that the only method you can use is Debit Card. Simply click on the deposit button which should be visible on screen whether you are on desktop or mobile.

Click the box which says you have read and accept the funds protection information, then hit continue. Enter your card details and then hit 'add a payment method'. Next choose your deposit amount, security code and then hit deposit.

Once you've made that first deposit, any future deposits you will be able to choose PayPal or Paysafecard.

I made a deposit but nothing happened?

Sometimes when you make your first deposit, you will have triggered the sign-up offer but it may not be immediately obvious what to do next. I know when I did it originally, I was looking everywhere for the free spin of the wheel I had been promised, but it wasn't obvious where to go.

Eventually I found that if you go to 'My Offers' and then 'Rewards' there is a section that says 'Claim your rewards here'. When I scrolled down on this section I was able to find the wheel and I was able to claim it.

So if this happens to you, try going to this section to see if you can find your bonus.

How to withdraw

If you're ready to withdraw some winnings you can find the withdrawal screen by selecting the deposit button. Once the deposit screen appears, you will see the option for a withdrawal in a tab either to the left or bottom of the screen.

It will show you how much withdrawable funds you have, which you can then type in the amount you wish to take out and press continue. The minimum withdrawal amount for Ted Bingo is £5.

Free Bingo at Ted

There are a few free bingo rooms available at Ted Bingo, but except for the 'The Biggie' which is open for new players for 3 days, all the others require large deposits to get access to them.

For example, my first deposit was £10 but that wasn't enough to get access to any of the three bingo rooms within the free bingo section. Each of the rooms had the following deposit requirements before you could get in, and even then it was just for 2 days:

  • The Grand (£100 prize): £20 deposit for 2 days access.
  • The Ultra (£250 prize): £30 deposit for 2 days access.
  • The Supreme (£500 prize): £50 deposit for 2 days access.

I've not seen restrictions this steep before now, so it did surprise me. Although to be fair the prize money in these free rooms is bigger than you would usually find, it still was a bit grating not to be able to play after making my first deposit, which is what I'm used to with regular Dragonfish sites.

Ted Trophies

In the lobby if you click on 'My Offers' and then 'Trophies' you'll see your 'trophy collection'. This is a kind of gamified area of the site whereby you receive virtual badges for 'achieving' certain tasks, such as making your first deposit, winning £2 on slots for the first time or wagering a certain amount of money on a particular slot game.

As well as getting a shiny badge for your collection, each one takes you closer to getting a spin on the prize wheel. If you click on each badge, it will display what you need to do to earn it, and what % it will boost you on the prize wheel. So for example, making your first deposit gets you a 20% boost, your 2nd deposit gets you a 70% boost.

Once you get to 100% then the wheel is unlocked and you get to spin it once. The key terms below explains what you could get from spinning the wheel.

KEY TERMS: The Trophy Wheel is available to players how have collected Trophies and progressed at least 1 time to 100% of unlocking the Trophy Wheel Spin. Progress can be seen under My Trophies tab.
